My client is looking for someone who is ready to get stuck-in to a varied and engaging role, offering the opportunity to train and gain experience with a wide range of goods transportation for an extensive array of industries and customers. Working Hours: Full time: Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
- To schedule and plan day-to-day customer deliveries.
- Liaise with new and existing customers.
- Meet transport legislation commitment.
- Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with drivers.
- Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.
Requirements
- Previous Transport Planning Experience.
- Previous experience working for a UK or Ireland based Freight Forwarder/Road Transport Company.
- Previous experience with the food and drinks industry is desirable, but not essential.
- Knowledge of the WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph and Transport legislation.
