iO Associates seeks a Buyer - Aluminium (Extrusions) for the Bristol site. Join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. Responsibilities
- Manage aluminium extrusion suppliers and ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery.
- Lead MFT projects, contract negotiations, and supplier selection via tender processes.
- Oversee the Aluminium ConBid process and enablement activities.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives, risk management, and performance improvements.
- Ensure contract compliance and alignment with SAP and Company procurement policy.
Skills
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Solid understanding of supply chain and procurement processes
- Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects effectively
